Andrew Hibberd
Andrew
completed a BSc in Mechanical Engineering form UCT in 1992 and after
two years in industry, returned to complete an MSc in Energy Studies
in 1997. There followed further experience in industry in boiler and
steam reticulation design as well as in energy efficiency, waste
energy utilisation and sustainable energy technologies. Following on
that was a stint in the IT sector as a project manager before
returning to UCT to continue working in the field of Energy
Efficiency with the ERC. Andrew is currently with the Measurement
and Verification team at ERC but is also active in commercial and
industrial energy surveys and consulting work.
