Britta Rennkamp

Britta is a researcher in the Energy, Environment and Climate Change Group

Current research interests

Climate technology and policy in developing countries, mitigation and poverty

 

Previous work experience
Britta has worked for at the interface of technological innovation and social development in international cooperation for German International Cooperation (GIZ) in Recife, Brazil, in 2006 and 2007. After her return to Germany, she worked as a researcher at one of Europe’s leading think tanks on international development, the German Development Institution (DIE) in Bonn for four years. Besides her research on sustainable development and innovation, she advised the German and South African governments on linking mitigation efforts and technological innovation in their bilateral cooperation.
