Mamahloko Senatla is an Assistant Researcher in the Energy systems analysis and planning group
- MSc (Sustainable Energy Engineering), UCT – 2010.
- B.Eng in Electronics (National University of Lesotho), 2007.
Previous work experience
Mamahloko had a one year studentship at iThemba Labs in 2007, where she was learning and applying software engineering skills. She developed a C++ motion library for the robot that could be used for cancer treatment. After joining ERC in 2008 as an MSc student, Mamahloko was involved in a number of projects across all the groups in ERC as an energy research intern until 2010.
Current research interests
Currently Mamahloko is involved in various projects in the Energy Analysis and Planning Group. Her major role is to gather and process energy information for input into energy models, build the energy models and analyse them to support decision systems. She is also getting experience in optimisation energy modelling.
